The view from the top of our "First Climb." For being at 6,000 ft elevation, and both of us being 60+ and carrying a "little" too much weight - we did great.




Near the top of our first "climb" Marilyn was still fresh and strong.

Here just a short drive from Hollywood - are many movie stars' homes.




John, Johanna, Marilyn, and Bill - we all enjoyed the long slow sail around Big Bear Lake.




Just think about it 300+ days of clear and sunshine - where better to put gaze at the stars?




Water sports - and yes even Para-sailing




Big Bear Lake not too far away is a mountain that is high enought that it has a treeline beyond which trees cannot grow.

Part of Big Bear Lake's success is doe to being near to LA California and having great ski slopes.
