Climbing and going into the depth of OHIO

Caves in the heart of Ohio. Ash Cave, Rock House, and Grandpa's Cave.

Our first trip would be to Ash Cave. It seemes so easy when we read the sign.

We've had lunch, we've read the signs and we are ready to start out

WOW - Marilyn caught the light just right. This cave was worth the effort.

One of the great things about being retired is that we can do things together.

Grandpa on the way to Grandpa's Cave

Sometimes the way to the Caves are just too steep and some wonderful people made passageways that even have steps.

The Devil's Bathtub - deep - straight walls - carved from solid rock.

It is not a pretty sight - Grandpa Bill entering Grandpa's Cave

Looking out from Grandpa's Cave - it is huge.

OK so Marilyn made Bill walk up trails, climb into caves, and he got REAL TIRED -
but what is Barry's excuse for sleeping?
