Maddux visit 2007

Marilyn and Bill planned a fall trip to California. We were going to do a little business, play a lot and see our kids and our graandso.

It was really fortunate that we planned this trip. We would not have expected that Bill's medical condition would require prompt brain surgury.

This trip was a chance to have fun and to be sure he got to see the kids "just in case things went bad with the surgury."




The exploring started with a simple trip to Pt. Reyes Lighthouse.



OK so they said it was 308 steps down and 308 STEPS UP but wow that was quite a climb.









Before we went on the trip Marilyn's flowers were so pretty.




We had gotten to Sam's house in time to take him to a special project showing at the Apple computer store.



While the Maddux group was working and in school we went to the Charles Schultz (Peanuts) Museum.



Bill and Marilyn were talked into a long, but beautiful walk along the sea cliffs.



Of course we let Mary and Sam join us.



It was a long drop off and the ocean was cold. We tried to keep back from the cliff edges.





Mary and Cammeron seem so happy and so much in love.



As the sun went down we were tired and cold. Ready for the warmth of hot cocoa.
