Arkansas DeGray Lake Resort

As hard as it is to believe, Bill and Marilyn took off on a trip with no destination in mind, no lodging established and no specific spots to visit. The trip was fun, and only had a few momemts of stress caused by lack of prior planning.

Near the heart of Arkansas is one of its many breath taking state parks. DeGray Lake Resort is awsome! http://www.degray.com This 13.800 acre fishing and water sports paradise in the foothils of the Auachita Mountains. The lodge was beautiful and the views were breathtaking.

The sun setting over the lake inspired us to take a romantic starlight walk around one of the arms of the lake.

Even in the twilight there was beauty to behold.

Marilyn found an unusual tree - with a little paint it could be made to look like a dragon.

To finish off the the day she had to try and "gross out" Bill by eating frog legs. While we both watched a beautiful wedding from the comfort of the Lodge.
