Lives Under Construction Boy's Ranch

LUC Boys Ranch is located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains in Southwest Missouri. We are changing the lives of at-risk boys in our Christian residential treatment program. Through the use of Biblical counseling and applying Christian principles in their lives, we are re-building broken homes and family relationships. http://www.lucboys.org/

This organization has a history of success with some of the toughest and hardest to help young and older boys.

Years ago it was started by Ken Ortman and his wife. They started with a "calling from God" and initially lived in a mud filled and snake inhabited pump house.

They have done much and many boys who have left the ranch have gone on to become successful members of society. Some come back from time to time to share the stories of their own success and to be an inspiration to those who are living at the Boys's Ranch.

A small Bible Study and sharing group from Bella Vista Lutheran Church visited the ranch in June of 2007 and were very inpressed with the positive impact the ranch makes on the boys.
